Frequently asked questions

How do I create a QuickChip account?

Click on the ‘Register Now’ button on the homepage and complete your details. This means that when you log in to place future orders you will not need to enter your delivery details again.

I have forgotten my password how do I reset it? 

Below the login area on the homepage is a ‘forgotten password’ link. Click this and enter the email address of your account. It will email you instructions.  If this still doesn’t work, email your name, company name and email address to with the subject line ‘QuickChip account reset’.  The team will then reset your password and email the new details to you.

I have been notified that my account has been verified but I still cannot order more than one sample?

You will need to log out and log back in. You may need to clear the cache in your browser if you are still having issues. You can do this by go to your browsers settings, navigate to history and clear browsing data (this may remove saved passwords, please check individual browser settings before proceeding).

How do I order multiple samples to replenish my display board?

You will need to create an account, and this account will need to be verified an approved by Laminex NZ. You will receive an email to let you know once your account has been approved. Until then, you will only be able to order limited amounts of samples and brochures.

Navigate to the board that you need to replenish and match the pins that are low in stock on your board with the visual representation on screen. Click the cart icon on each sample to add to cart. You will be able to order as many samples as you need to replenish that pin. 

How many samples can I order at once?

When logged into a verified approved account you can order as many samples as is required to replenish an item, for example for the Melteca sample board you can order 10 chips of each décor, and for the Caesarstone box set you can order 1 sample of each décor. 

How do I know which sample is which?

Move your mouse over the swatch on screen. The décor name and the finish that the sample is available in will display. 

What if I know the name of the sample I require, but don’t know where to find it on the board – how do I place an order?

There is an alphabetical listing of samples for each product brand. Simply click on the range (alphabetical) from the brand submenu and then mark the tick box for the samples you require.

How do I order large samples?

For those ranges where larger samples are available you can add these either from the alphabetical page, or in the cart. 

All the samples on my board are mixed up, how can I easily put them back in the right spots?

There is a printable pdf layout available for each asset on the right hand side of each asset page. Click ‘layout guide’ to view, download and print. 

I just want to order a chainset, how do I do that?

For those ranges where a sample chainset is available, there is a link in the complementary materials panel on the left hand side. These are available for the Melteca, Formica and Laminex laminate standard ranges. 

I know the name of the sample I want to order, but not which range it belongs to. How can I find it?

Begin typing into the search bar at the top of the homepage, it will list relevant decors for you to choose from. Click on the décor you want and it will navigate to that asset page. 

How do I order new merchandising assets on

You can request full assets (such as a complete board, folder or box set) from the complementary materials bar on the right hand side of each asset page.  You will need to be logged into a verified approved account to make the request and will need to provide additional details and read the terms & conditions of asset use. All requests are subject to approval of the Laminex NZ Merchandising Manager and may require additional time to ready for dispatch. 

Can I order brochures on

Yes. Click the ‘Brochures’ link from the menu bar on the top of the site and then select the type and quantity of brochure you wish to order. You will need to be logged in to your account to order multiple brochures at once. 

Can my customers order samples from QuickChip?

Yes, but they will only be able to order single samples of a limited number of colours. They would need to click ‘continue as guest’ from the homepage and order without creating an account.

How do I send samples to my customer?

Login as normal, but enter the name & address of your customers in the ‘deliver to’ box in the cart.

How do I know my order has been placed?

You will receive a confirmation email to let you know your order has been received by our samples department. 

When should I receive my samples?

In stock samples and brochures should be dispatched within 48hours of order placement. If your chosen sample is out of stock it will be placed on back order. 

How can I track my sample order?

At this stage we are not able to provide order tracking facility. Please email if you have any queries about your order. 

My packing slip has costs listed on it – will I have to pay for my samples?

No. All samples are provided free of charge. The costs listed are to allow Laminex NZ to track the investment we make in merchandising and samples for our customers. 

How can I see what sample orders I have placed?

When you are logged in, click on the ‘My Account’ button on the right hand side of the site. From this menu select ‘history’ to see a list of the orders you have placed.

How can I find out more about the products you offer?

From the additional items bar on the right hand side of each asset page, click on the link for more information to be directed to the product page for that range on our website.

How can I change my account details?

When you are logged in, click on the ‘My Account’ button on the right hand side of the site. From this menu select ‘my account’ and click ‘update’ to change your details.
